IBAF is dedicated chapter for entrepreneur and business advisory under Empower Foundation which is registered with NITI Aayog, Government of India. It has been involved in various initiatives over the last decade which includes mentoring and advising startups and businesses and also in policy making for the country. IBAF participated in the creation of National MSME policy (2017) where in it voiced the views and needs of MSMEs to the Department of MSME, Government of India. Empower Foundation also represented the Industry as a part of the Executive committee, BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India.
